Concrete Forming and IFC System

Insulated Concrete Forms (ICFs), also known as Insulating Concrete Forms, are a construction method that uses interlocking, rigid insulation blocks to create formwork for reinforced concrete walls or floors, providing integral insulation and a permanent substrate for finishes.

Construction Method:

ICFs are a building system that utilizes interlocking, rigid insulation blocks (typically made of expanded polystyrene or EPS) to create the formwork for poured concrete walls or floors.

How they work:

The blocks are dry-stacked (without mortar) and filled with concrete, forming a structural wall or floor element.
