Superstructure items

 

The superstructure of a building comprises the structural elements and architectural features above ground level, including walls, floors, roofs, doors, windows, and other components. 

Structural Framework: This includes beams, columns, and other load-bearing components that support the weight of the building and external forces. 

Walls: Both internal and external walls, including load-bearing and non-load-bearing walls, form the building's enclosures. 

Floors: The horizontal surfaces that separate different levels within a building. 

Roof: The covering that protects the building from the elements, including flat roofs, sloped roofs, and other types. 

Parapet: The external walls that extend past the roof slab 

Doors and Windows: Openings in the walls for access and light.

Lintels: Architectural element that distributes stress created by the weight of a superstructure
